Mulgrew Makes a Difference Fund

In April we launched our new ‘Mulgrew Makes a Difference Fund’. The purpose of the fund is to help local causes close to our teams’ hearts and help make a difference in our local areas.

We had a terrific response from our team members last month and the worthy recipient of the ‘Mulgrew Lets Make a Difference Fund’ selected by our Employee Committee was: SCAA (Scottish Air Ambulance)

The Scottish Air Ambulance, specifically Scotland's Charity Air Ambulance (SCAA), provides critical life-saving support to remote and rural communities in Scotland by responding to time-critical accidents and medical emergencies. They offer rapid transport of patients to hospitals, ensuring access to specialized care when every second counts. SCAA works closely with the Scottish Ambulance Service (SAS) and other emergency responders as part of Scotland's emergency network, covering over 30,000 square miles.

SCAA was nominated by Craig Brown, who is a HGV driver for Mulgrew Haulage Ltd based out of Cairnryan site who knows first-hand what critical support the SCAA can assist in when it comes to emergencies. 

We hope our £1000.00 donation will go a long way in supporting the SCAA in Scotland, helping people that need urgent treatment.
